Located on the southern tip of New Jersey, Cape May Point State Park is a key site on the New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail. Take the challenge and climb the 199 stairs of the Cape May Lighthouse for breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay. If you don’t want to take the climb, the park’s ever-changing shoreline, dunes, freshwater coastal marsh, and forested islands make it a prime location for viewing the fall bird migration.
